I believe my primary purpose is to give back to those who helped me. Growing up, I have had a physical disability since I was born and I have always been told what I can or cannot do. I have had numerous medical problems that constantly give me setbacks and made me in school longer than I have wanted to. In college, I want to become educated in pediatrics and show everyone I can do it too and think of it as a great way to give back to all the doctors that have helped me through life. I love children and love how doctors interact with them and I believe college will prepare me for this journey the best way possible.
