I believe my primary purpose in life is to serve as a cultural bridge-builder, using the power of sports and digital media to connect diverse communities and cultures while empowering others to overcome the unique challenges of navigating unfamiliar environments just like me. As an international student, I have learned firsthand what it takes to adapt, survive, and ultimately thrive in new environments with just one, in my case this goal is to get the education possible to contribute and give back to this who need help. My purpose is to turn those personal insights into a platform that help a global audiences on a big scale through sports culture, while directly lifting up the next generation of international scholars. During my remaining time at ASU, I plan to pursue this purpose by actively transforming my passions into tangible skills. I will use ASU’s career coaching resources to secure strategic internships within the sports and digital media sectors, focusing on building a professional portfolio that demonstrates an ability to communicate across cultural boundaries. By engaging with the campus community, as I have done by being he VP of corporate outreach at ALPFA ASU, I will also be able to gather insights, data, and networks necessary to start my long-term community project. For me college is the launchpad for my broader vision. In the five years following graduation, I plan to fulfill my purpose by securing a role as a Manager in the Culture Marketing department of the MLB, where I intend to innovate how the league communicates with diverse, international audiences. Achieving this professional milestone will allow me to establish the financial stability needed to support my family, while simultaneously giving me the support to help others. I would love to help and guide future international ASU students through the financial and cultural realities of studying abroad, I want to offer strategies for scholarships and work limitations through the creation of digital content. By balancing a corporate strategy with content creation, I believe I can achieve personal independence while ensuring my community thrives alongside me.
